The Patient Care Technology program will introduce students to curricula in Nursing Assistant, EKG/Telemetry, Phlebotomy, Emergency Medicine, and medical Terminology. The program includes face-to-face and online instruction as well as a variety of lab activities for the critical hands-on learning. Students who complete the program will be eligible to test and receive a national certification in Patient Care Technology making them much more employable as Patient Care Technicians. Students who wish to pursue further study may do so with credits earned.
The fourth digit in the course number indicates the number of credit hours.

A student completing all three courses will be awarded the CP in Patient Care Technician. A student completing the CP will be able to sit for the national PCT exam. A student completing the CP and earning national certification is highly employable as a Patient Care Technician or Clinical Support Associate. |
